Shocking Blue - California Here I Come (At Home)
i’m gong back home for a friend’s wedding, see family and friends, and play a couple shows in frisco (see below for show details). this song seems appropriate i guess. plus mariska was, at one point, a total babe… AND the album this track came off of is called At Home. get it? ok, now leave me be. i’m trying to get drunk here.

Perhaps people are more familiar with Nirvana’s cover of this from their first single/lp. Shocking Blue is so cool. It’s too bad that they’re mostly remembered for their worst song “Venus”. I highly recommend this album.
